things i've done today

moved into my daydream place
met a gallery owner and promised to send her pictures of my work to potentially sell in the gallery shop. thinking those matchbox altars
i'm so inspired artistically here, my room has some furniture in it (which is nice because I wasn't able to bring more than what would fit into half of a trunk in a car) and there's a desk right under the window that looks out to all the different levels of garden. It's a perfect new studio.
The only bummer right now is that I was forced to leave my stereo system behind and I don't even have speakers to hook up to my computer.
I also found a bike and I'm having the brakes fixed and a basket attached and they're calling me tomorrow. Should be around $85 for that.
I opened a CA bank account.
I went grocery shopping.

There's a SHIT TON more that's happened but it's not art related.

my plate degraded so rapidly, I could only do four. I've posted all four so that you can see the progression/regression. 

For some reason animals didn't feel right for the first time in a long time. 

This concept is definitely a work in progress since it's a direct and purposeful reflection of a mix of my current goals, wishes and a tiny bit of iconography that is representative of aspects of my spirituality.

things to improve about my dancing:

more out and less inside of my body
greater hand vocabulary
learn the standards so i can incorporate them as desired. mashed potato, classic twist, really all of this:


a little more stomach control like bellydancing kind

material things to do list:
polyurethane pull-on go go boots, if not originally silver, to be painted so
fringed two piece go-go outfit, preferably an off-white
a flick-knife
multi-purpose sandals for walking long distances and dancing
oh yeah damn also have to get a motorcycle jacket i guess. i wanted to be gifted one but that's unlikely to happen within a year.
amateur jewelry machinery so i can drill mini holes into whatever i want and make fucking badass shiit. now that i have my own silk-screening kit, i'm going to MAKE things and make some money that way too
